Substitute a Product with Chipply's Purchase Utility
With Chipply's Purchase Utility, you can easily substitute an unavailable product for any product within the Chipply Database. Being able to substitute products is a game-changing feature that will be very beneficial heading into the holiday season.
First, you will want to check the availability to see if you have any out-of-stock products ordered on your store.
To Check Availability:
1) Click Purchasing on the left-hand menu of your store or click Purchasing on the top navigation bar if you have your store set to globally be purchased
2) Choose the appropriate Vendor & then choose the store(s)/processes(es) you are working on
3) Click Check Availability to see if you have any products that are unavailable
To Substitute a Product:
1) Select the product that you would like to Substitute (most of the time it will be the product that is out of stock, but you can use this feature to substitute any product in your store). You can also sub multiple products at a time, but they must be the same style & color
2) Click MORE ACTIONS -> Substitute
3) From here you can search up any product inside of the Chipply Database
4) Select the Product you want to Substitute for
5) From here, you can select the Color & Size of the product you are subbing for
6) Once you have the correct product with the right color(s) and size(s) chosen, click ACCEPT on the top of your screen
