Apply a Promo Code to a Customer's Order
Chipply makes it easy to add a Promo Code to a customer's order. This is great to know in case a customer ever forgets to use a Promo Code at checkout.
To Apply a Promo Code to a Customer's Order:
1) Find the customer's order through Order Manager by utilizing the different search fields: Customer's first or last name, email address, phone number, or order number.
2) Once you select the order, under Payment Methods, click the pencil button next to the Promo Code and then select the Promo Code from the drop-down.
3) Once the Promo Code is added to the customer's order, you should see a red net order difference at the bottom of your screen. Once you have confirmed the net order difference, you can click the REFUND button on the top of the page and it will refund the Promo Code amount back to the customer's card.
