Send SMS Texts Through Chipply
One of Chipply's new Premium Features is SMS Texting. This means you have the ability to send texts regarding web stores. For example, you can set up your Automated Launch emails to also text the Organization Contact when their store goes live. You can text customers regarding their orders too! Create a Message Template in your account, for both email and text, letting the customer know their order is ready for pick up! (Please Note: Customers must opt-in to receive text messages when placing their order at checkout).
To Send SMS Texts to Your Customers:
1) Click Message Customers on the Left-Hand Menu.
2) Select the customer(s) you want to text.
3) From here you will be able to choose if you want to send your customer a text and/or an email next to the Message Types. Utilize the merge fields on the right side of the screen to customize your text. OR, if you have Message Templates created, simply select the template from the Template drop-down.
4) When your message is complete, click Send.
