Change the Distribution Method on an Order

Chipply makes it easy for you to change a customer's distribution method through Order Manager. This is great to know for the upcoming busy season.

 

How to Change the Distribution Method on an Order:

1) Find the customer's order through Order Manager by utilizing the different filters to narrow down your search: Customer's first or last name, email address, phone number, or order number.

 

2) Once you select the order -> Click the Pencil Button next to Shipping.

 

3) From here you can either choose Organization Distribution, Customer In-Store Pickup, or Ship to Customer. You can also add an additional price and update/add a shipping address right from this section.

 

Please Note: The shipping dollar amount will not be changed when a new Distribution method is chosen. If changing the customer order to shipping, you'll need to manually update the new amount to a rate of your choice. If changing the order from shipping to a pickup option, shipping will not automatically be reduced and you will have to change the amount to $0 in order to refund the customer.
